UnitedHealth, Walgreens team up to promote healthy lifestyle through new rewards program

Fully insured UnitedHealthcare members in Arizona and Illinois will soon be able to earn Walgreens Balance Rewards points for completing certain health activities, the duo announced today at the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society's annual conference in Chicago. The partnership will integrate Walgreens Balance Rewards for health choices with UnitedHealth's Reward Me tab on the insurer's mobile app, Health4Me. Those participating will be able to redeem points by completing activities such as daily exercise, eating fruits and vegetables and logging sufficient sleep.
